Attorney L. Mark Russell ("Mark") grew up with an older brother, Jon, who is dual diagnosed with both an intellectual disability and a bipolar disorder. Sharing Jon's struggles and triumphs has defined Mr. Russell’s career and his life.
Since he graduated near the top of his law class in 1981, Mark has concentrated his law practice on estate and future planning, and has advised hundreds of parents who have a son or daughter with a disability how to safeguard their child’s future. In addition, Mark is a highly sought after conference and seminar speaker.
Mark’s personal experience, his commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities and their families, and his national recognition as an expert in his field make him an excellent addition to Center for Independent Futures’ Professional Resource Partner List.
