Avi Lesser set a goal to move out on his own by the time he was 25 years old. With the support of his family, friends, and Center for Independent Futures, his dream became a reality when he moved into one of our Community Living Option residences. Learning that we offered a creative solution was the first step in Avi’s journey toward independent living, shared Avi’s parents, Carol and Simon.
“Center for Independent Futures opened our eyes to the possibility that Avi could live so much more independently than we ever thought,” Carol says.
