Independent Living Skills Curriculum
This curriculum is designed to assist parents, educators and agency staff to train independent living skills to individuals with disabilities. Upon completion of an Independent Living Readiness Inventory, areas for skill development are targeted. The Independent Living Skills Curriculum breaks skills into manageable teaching units. Tools are provided for a variety of learning styles, while suggested teaching approaches enable the trainer to effectively teach, coach, support, monitor and retrain skills as needed.
