Welcome to Our New Board and Staff Members

March 17, 2016

Center for Independent Futures is excited to welcome three professionals to our community as staff and Board of Directors members.

If you call or visit the office in the morning, you’ll meet Pat Finnell, a new member of our staff. Pat brings her years of experience in the corporate world to Center for Independent Futures, where she supports visitors and callers and works on a variety of projects. Her career has included sales and marketing, primarily in the software industry. She recently moved back to the Midwest from New York City and is enjoying learning about the Evanston community.

Kirsten Curley joined Center for Independent Futures’ Board of Directors after learning about a family member’s experience navigating disability services. She is an award-winning corporate communications professional with a background that includes leading communications and public affairs for both not-for-profits and global corporations. These experiences, along with Kirsten’s drive to serve through volunteering, will be an asset to our community.

Gayle Brankin joins the Center for Independent Futures community as both a staff member and a Board member. She has over 30 years of leadership experience as an inclusive education and person-centered transition services consultant. Gayle’s expertise will support the work of the School Consultation Staff and the Board of Directors as we support students to transition to post-secondary opportunities and lead full lives in the community.

Join us in welcoming Pat, Kirsten, and Gayle to the Center for Independent Futures community!
