Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner!

February 25, 2015

In early February, the Center for Independent Futures Auxiliary Board and Advisory Council joined together for a fun night of bonding and a new tradition of connections. At Valley Lodge Tavern in Wilmette, the group gathered for a night of comfort food and BINGO. "Winner winner, chicken dinner!" was the motto of the night. Attendees were friendly over the fried chicken and mac and cheese, but the competition of the game was cutthroat. Three lucky BINGO winners went home with cash prizes. Thank you to our hosts, the staff at Valley Lodge Tavern, for great food and a great event.

The night was the first of many joint social events in the works for the Auxiliary Board and the Advisory Council. It's not all fun and games with these groups, however--both work hard to plan CIF's signature gala and largest fundraiser, Spark.

The Advisory Council is a group of dedicated CIF participants who, in addition to helping with Spark, plan other fundraisers and share the thoughts and ideas of the CIF community. The Auxiliary Board is made up of young professionals committed to raising more funds and awareness for CIF.
